Powerbox have a conscious understanding of the requirement of constant personal safety and stringent quality standards in medical power supplies, and these concerns are held in priority during implementation.

There are a large number of electronics used in the medical field, including all kinds of products from measurement and instrumentation equipment, analyzing equipment, x-ray machines, life supporting machines to devices for medicine distribution.

The list is long and the power and voltage requirements are very different, but the need for quality is of equal importance in each. Typical characteristics of medical power supplies include personal safety standards, low leakage and EMC emissions, the production of products for global use and the use of different voltages and power solutions depending on applications.

The high demands on low leakage currently combined with low EMC emissions imply an intelligent strategy for thermal management, mechanical layout and filter design. Powerbox engineers have the experience to ensure that medical products are designed to meet these requirements as well as the reliability and safety aspects relevant for medical devices.

Powerbox supplies medical power products to many of the world's leading medical device manufacturers. The applications for which these products are utilized include x-ray systems, analyzing equipment, instruments and endormology.
